It started with a camera at home.
I’m Connelly. I grew up in Southern California, and at 14 I found an old camera at home. Inside the bag were little notes explaining how to use it. I started teaching myself, and within a few days I was taking it everywhere.
By my freshman year of high school, I was filming weddings. My mom would drop me off and pick me up after the reception. I was hooked long before I could drive myself.
More than a decade later, weddings have taken me to places I never expected that camera would. I still love figuring out a shot. But getting to know the people in it is what keeps me coming back.
WHEN THE WEDDING IS OVER
I still reach for a camera.
Filmmaking is my job, but it’s also what I do for fun. I’m always watching films, trying something new with a camera, and finding ideas I want to bring to the next wedding. That curiosity has stayed with me since the days of learning from those notes.

Present in the Moment
I want you to spend your wedding with your people, comfortable enough to forget the camera is there. Behind the camera, I’m thinking ahead: where to stand, which angle will catch a reaction, and when to hold a shot long enough for a moment to unfold. That preparation lets me work with intention while giving you space to be yourselves. I’ll offer direction when it helps, then let the moment happen.
Intention in Every Edit
The edit carries that same care. A slower song can give anticipation room to build; a faster pace can bring back the energy of the dance floor. I choose when to stay with color and when black and white brings attention to an expression. For Highlight, Short, and Altalu, your recorded vows and speeches help shape the story. Base follows the same intentional approach through images and music, without recorded vows or speeches.
