It started with a camera at home.
I’m Connelly. I grew up in Southern California, and at 14 I found an old camera at home. Inside the bag were little notes explaining how to use it. I started teaching myself, and within a few days I was taking it everywhere.
By my freshman year of high school, I was filming weddings. My mom would drop me off and pick me up after the reception. I was hooked long before I could drive myself.
More than a decade later, weddings have taken me to places I never expected that camera would. I still love figuring out a shot. But getting to know the people in it is what keeps me coming back.
WHEN THE WEDDING IS OVER
I still reach for a camera.
Filmmaking is my job, but it’s also what I do for fun. I’m always watching films, trying something new with a camera, and finding ideas I want to bring to the next wedding. That curiosity has stayed with me since the days of learning from those notes.

I want you to spend your wedding with your people, comfortable enough to forget the camera is there. I’ll offer direction when it helps and give you room to enjoy what’s happening.

For Highlight, Short, and Altalu, I start by listening. Your vows and speeches help me find the story, then I build the film around them, making room for the quiet moments and the party. Base is a music-led film and does not include recorded vows or speeches.
There’s care behind the scenes, too. Highlight includes two dedicated ceremony cameras; Short and Altalu include three. These collections also include recorded vows and speeches. I keep multiple copies of your footage while I work on your film.
